In order to finance the
proposed trip to the States, I am selling two of my cherished Classic
motorcycles.
They are: -

1962 Norton Atlas
This has been in my possession
for around 21 years, during which time it has been completely restored. It is
now about 99% correct, the only non-standard part being the rear mudguard. It
has matching engine and frame numbers, and is fitted with the rare, but correct,
small petrol tank that these originally came out with. It is from the first
year of manufacture - they were 'export only' until 1964, much to the chagrin
of British enthusiasts!
Fully road legal and taxed.
It has won numerous "'Concours"
prizes, and is on offer to an enthusiast for £2200, or equivalent in Dollars,
Euros. (Buyer to be responsible for transport costs)

1969 BSA A65 Lightning,
in clubman trim.
Rebuilt by me 22 years ago,
this was used for clubman type Classic racing in the late '80s before being
put back into road trim. It is fitted with a single disc front brake, alloy
front rim, 32mm MKII Amal carbs, a SRM Big Valve cylinder head, rearset
footrests, clip-on handlebars, and a fibreglass fuel tank. The engine has
just been fitted with a new T/side main bearing, a canister type oil filter,
and pressure gauge. It comes with a variety of spares which include the
original chrome mudguards, seat, etc, and the original crankcases ( matching
the frame No.). Fully road legal and taxed.
A very attractive, and quick,
machine. £2160, or equivalent in Dollars, Euros. (Buyer to be responsible
for transport costs) |
