Donald Wales: As the Grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell, and nephew of Donald Campbell, it is little wonder that Don has himself has become a multiple record breaker. Being the closest living relative to Sir Malcolm, and in continuance of the family tradition, he has adopted the blue and yellow racing colours of his Grandfather and continues to keep alive the Bluebird name by incorporating it into the title of all of his record contenders - hence Vampire in his hands becomes Bluebird Vampire.

Mark Newby: Mark cut his teeth in Drag Racing many years ago in England . Having progressed through ever more serious and faster classes within the sport he teamed up with Collin Fallows to form Primetime Land Speed Engineering. Together they built the two jet powered dragsters with which their names have become synonymous, Split Second and Vampire, each in turn having held the British Land Speed Record.
