In order to finance the anniversary event it is anticipated that the organisers will need to raise support amounting to R.1 million from sponsors wishing to become involved in this World Class occasion. Although the teams will bring certain specialist equipment with them, shipping and transport costs, vehicle hire, accommodation, fuel and much more has to be funded, as does the necessary fees and costs payable to the governing bodies of motorsport both Nationally (MSA), and Internationally (FIA).
